During my time at MCM BUZZ I spent my time writing Reviews, Features and news. The bulk of my work there was spent writing not just about gaming but anime and also film. I run a semi-regular feature named "Classics" Which documents the greatest games, films and anime. In addition to this I also am writing an ongoing feature on how to build a PC. I write features on events, big news stories and rumors, this was the first website I wrote for since running my website. I have learnt a wealth of information on how media is published and how the editorial process works with Wordpress publishing.

At Midlife Gamer I have written several reviews, while making crucial industry connections. For Midlife Gamer I had to tackle a different audience then what I was used to at MCMBUZZ or at this blog, so I had to adapt my writing style to fit the needs of the audience with a more casual approach to critically reviewing games, often crudely saying it how it is.

Contracted Writer
Mooch Marketing was my first paid writing position. Moreso than any other publication that I had written for at the time, Mooch Marketing had the most radically different readership. I worked on creating buyers guides for a myriad of different game consoles, lists of recommended video games for an audience that would mainly be aimed at a more older audience, moreso than Midlife Gamer. I feel that my performance at Mooch Marketing demonstrates that you do not have to be a seasoned journalist to become a professional writer, you have to be able to articulate yourself to create good copy.
