Shin Megami Tensei : Persona 4 Review Story Primer

So, Persona 4. You start off as a transfer student to the fictional rural town of Inaba, in Japan.

You get picked up by your Uncle and His daughter, whom you will live with throughout the course of this game. You will make friends and meet your fellow classmates...

This is where It gets interesting.

There is one of those cliché rumours going around school, That you can see your soul mate if you look into a TV at midnight. You and your new friends all try this. And all see the same person.

However, you try to touch the T.V and your hand goes straight through the TV.

The next day you tell your friends about this and they are in short. WTF'd out. When you are walking back home that day. A dead body appears on top of a TV satellite aerial. She was also the person you saw on the T.V.

Everyone passes this incident off as a coincidence. But your friends are still intrigued about how you fit your hand through a TV. So they take you to a department store your friend owns and you try to show your two friends you can go into the TV.

And it does.

Freaked out, they try to do it. And they can as well. You all fall into another world from going into the TV.

You try to navigate yourself around this strange world and find a room, with blood slashes all across it, with a noose in the middle and a single picture of the actress who died recently.

You and co. try to get out of there ASAP.

You encounter a strange bear who then leads you out. (to put it short, hahah)

That night, you watch the “midnight channel” Again and you spot someone you recognise.

She dies the next day, you and co. see if the Deaths and the TV are related, you try to go in with one other friend and another in the real world holding you by a rope, you also go in armed this time.

Friend in real world lets go after you jump in.

You enter the TV World, you explore, looking for clues about recent death, you encounter Another Yosuke And he starts talking the truth about himself. He starts to deny it.

The Negative thoughts being projected resonate into a BOSSS FIIIGGHHTTT

You're faced with a Giant monster thing. You're about to die and DEUS EX MACHINA OCCURS!

You Utter the words persona and a card appears, you crush said card. And huge “persona” comes out. The way to describe this is a pokemon like thing, and you can attack with it.

You beat the boss, friend gets a persona.
